friendly community CLASSES FOR ALL.

Body Mind Collective - Accessible Yoga

Body Mind Collective delivers Yoga, Tai Chi and Line Dancing sessions around Sandwell. Our sessions are in accessible and inclusive spaces, and we welcome complete beginners to those that are more advanced with experience.

At our public community sessions, we aim to make our sessions financially accessible. Where possible, we secure funding and corporate sponsorships to subsidise our sessions. You can find out more about our current projects and partnerships on our NEWS page.

Further down this page you will find our most frequently asked questions, with video support showing you how to use our booking system.

We know (from experience!) that attending a new class for the first time can be daunting. Here are some of the most common questions we get asked, and some answers that might help:
Body Mind Collective

We accept drop-ins at our weekly community classes, however we encourage you to book online when possible as this makes things smoother for us when you arrive at class. If you are unable to book online we can take drop-in cash and card payments at the door - please arrive in plenty of time to make your payment at class.

Our monthly memberships are online purchases only as this requires a direct debit payment and our teachers are unable to handle your bank details at class. Bookings must be made in advance for workshops and retreats.

If you need support setting with bookings, please contact Bryony who will be able to help.

FINANCIAL ACCESSIBILITY.

Karma Yoga.

Karma Yoga means the Yoga of Action and is about selfless service. If you are passionate about making health and wellbeing equitable and want to become part of our community, then you can volunteer with us in exchange for free sessions and discounts on workshops.

We have a variety of weekly tasks that you can commit to helping with, from setting up and packing away sessions, to administration tasks. No particular skills are necessary, but we ask that you are trustworthy, respectful, reliable, and punctual.

If you are interested in joining our karma team please contact us on hello@bodymindcollective.cc to see if we have any places currently available.

Bursaries.

We aim to make our sessions as inclusive as possible, this includes financial accessibility. One practical way we feel that we can increase diversity in the wellbeing world is to offer a 50% bursary place on each of our workshops and trainings.

Applicants will be required to demonstrate financial need for the bursary. Priority will be given to those who are from marginalised or vulnerable groups. To apply for a bursary please see each course page.
